The precarity double bill is part of a project entitled "They Are the 1%: Filming Class, Gender and Race Inequality in Global Cinema" funded by the British Academy-CNRS Knowledge Frontiers Symposium. 

The project studies how mainstream cinema animates growing inequality and dispossession of social groups by powerful elites.
